Résumé du projet de thèse: La transition climatique et économique s’imposant aux zones des montagnes, l’ouverture culturelle de l’offre touristique de ces espaces a un potentiel de compenser la perte de l’attrait économique des territoires. Dans un objectif de valorisation patrimoniale par la recherche, le présent projet proposera un questionnement sur la place des monuments dans le paysage alpin, à travers l’étude de l’architecture de l’ancien diocèse de Grenoble. Grâce à une démarche pluridisciplinaire, ce travail croisera deux types de sources, historiques et archéologiques, et se placera à l’échelle internationale de l’arc alpin. Le recours aux humanités numériques permettra d’enrichir les outils de médiation culturelle par une documentation graphique et synthétique. Par le questionnement de l’imaginaire formé autour du massif alpin, ce travail suivra l’évolution de la place réservée au patrimoine bâti.

Résumé du projet de thèse en anglais: The climatic and economic transition imposing itself on mountain areas, the cultural opening of the tourist offer of these spaces has a potential to compensate for the loss of the economic attractiveness of the territories. With the objective of enhancing the heritage through research, this project will question the place of monuments in the Alpine landscape, through the study of the architecture of the former diocese of Grenoble. Thanks to a multidisciplinary approach, this work will cross two types of sources, historical and archaeological, and will be placed at the international scale of the Alpine arc. The use of digital humanities will enrich the cultural mediation tools with graphic and synthetic documentation. By questioning the imaginary formed around the Alps, this work will follow the evolution of the place reserved for built heritage.
